No Limits
I haven't posted for a few days, but I did want to add a bit about No Limits. The services were wonderful! I don't have time to post a lot of details, but suffice it to say that once again God met with His people in an awesome way! Many ministers were ordained on Friday night through Reach World Wide Inc. And on Thursday night I lost count of how many people pledged support to local ministers in Africa. It was one of those nights that touches the heart in a way that will not soon be forgotten.

These are a couple of pics of the kids at the service the last night of No Limits. The girls all match in the dresses we made. Dallas was being onery and wanted to pose silly in all of the pics I took of him. I finally gave up getting the "perfect" picture. With him, you get what you get! By the way, he is holding a "gold nugget" he received in Children's Church. He was very proud of that!

Dallas' Fourth Birthday Party
We had such a good time Saturday night. Kevin's mom and dad, Kathy and Craig and the boys, and Carlos and Denise and the kids came over for Dallas' late B-day party. We had hot dogs, Dallas' food of choice, with chips and salas, another of Dallas' favorites. The kids played baseball and we all wore fire men hats to go with the theme. It was great! Enjoy the pictures!

Darilyn gets the Holy Ghost!
Last night, while studying our Bible Quizzing verses, the girls and I took time out for a prayer meeting to address some attitude issues we were having. We began to pray, asking for God to help us learn His word and to help us keep a right attitude. Then we turned our prayer to the upcoming No Limits, asking God to touch us in a special way at the conference. I prayed special prayers for each of the kids, and as a mother will when praying for her kids, I tapped into Holy Ghost in a powerful way. The girls are very tender towards God and His moving, so they began to cry and call out to Him. Delaney started speaking in tongues and I encouraged her to let God touch her in a special way. Darilyn began to sob and pray for the Holy Ghost. Delaney and I prayed for her and when God began to touch her, I called Kevin on the phone (he was out of town for work). With her daddy praying for her over the phone, and her mom and sister praying for her, Darilyn 's lips began to stammer and she started speaking in tongues! It was so awesome to feel the spirit of God intensify in our living room as Darilyn got the Holy Ghost. What an awesome night! God touched both of the girls in an awesome way. When we were done, Denae, who watched the prayer meeting while destroying a magazine, came over to me and buried her face in our ottoman and started 'praying.' She then stood up and looked at me so I put my hand on her head and raised her hand and prayed for her. She raised her other hand and stood smiling so happy to get prayed for. I guess it is all about training our children in the ways of God. What precious memories.
Look at that happy face with the Holy Ghost glow

So happy to get prayed for

Revival in Oakland
We just got an e-mail from a precious friend of ours in Oakland, a saint at Oakland Tabernacle, that one of the young boys who comes on the 'bus' ministry was baptized! He is a year older than Delaney, I think. He and younger sister (by about 1 year) have been coming faithfully since the outreach ministry started when we were there, 3 summers ago. His sister is getting baptized this coming Sunday. It is so awesome to see God reach into the hearts of these hungry children and change their lives so drastically. We are still praying for their mom, Star. She has been a faithful supporter from the beginning. In fact, she was one of the reasons we were able to start our outreach in her community. She would come every Sunday with the kids and wouldn't take any of their shenanigans. I can still hear here telling them to "leave that in the 'hood" when the kids would start to fight or behave in an inappropriate way. She many times would stay for church after Sunday School was over and was touched time and time again. She has had a tough life and many wounds and scars that need healed, but our God is big enough, strong enough, loving enough, caring enough to get the job done. Keep Star and her kids in your prayers. God has big things in store for this lady and her family, and I have a feeling it won't be long before we begin to see the enormous impact one firecracker of lady can have on her community when she lets God have His way.

New Post!! Yea!
Okay, Okay. I know it has been a while since I posted. That's 10 lashes with a wet noodle for me! So, since my mom mentioned it, I am posting pictures from the tournament the girls went to 2 weekends ago. It was the first tournament of the year for this BQ season. And the first evern tournament for Apostolic Bible Quizzing. It went really really well. Kevin, Phillip Booker, and the others he works with did a great job getting it all together. I know first hand how much work went in to it and let me say how much I appreciate all they did to ensure that the kids have a first rate quiz program. So, hope you enjoy all the pictures.
